Spacecraft Press is proud to announce the publication of excerpts from Ross McCleary’s The Universe is all of Space and its Contents. A total of 30 copies were produced, 15 of which are for sale.
Using only text lifted from Wikipedia articles, McCleary creates a prose poem in the shape of a universal itinerary, starting with the universe itself, working down through the superstructures like the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall, through the largest galaxies, then through the largest black holes, the largest stars, then the planets of the solar system, then asteroids, then atomic elements, then subatomic articles and finishing on superstrings. The excerpt this chapbook contains moves from the universe itself to our sun, the star Sol.
Ross McCleary is a writer and poet from Edinburgh, Scotland. His work has appeared in many places, online and in print, including: The Menteur, Dactyl, Valve, Queen Mob’s Teahouse, Bleak Bleak Bleak and Far Off Places. He is also co-editor of a new podcast journal called Lies, Dreaming.
